I totally understand what you mean about buying certain parts. I want to be able to make a lot of changes to my car, but that means sacrificing name brand parts every once in a while to make room for more mods. Good job on the build so far, cant wait to see the pics of it lowered.

tried to replace my passenger side engine mount tonight.. Both the bolts that mount into the frame came loose then the retaining nuts broke off from the inside o now BOTH of the engine mount bolts wont loosen or tighten.. my engine is not sagging by like 1/8*-1/4"

Looks Like saturday I will have to cut a hole in the frame in order to get the bolts out, instal new bolts/nuts and then weld the frame back up :(

This is not the first bolt that has broken on this car.. I may start looking for another shell for the engine swap if this keeps up :(

Ok got the new engine mount on HOLY CRAP made a big deal WOOT WOOT..

Took me about 2 hours..

here is the best pic I have of the holes I had to cut.. I ended up getting the wife under the car to hold the bolt while I put the nuts on :)

My ex used to help me all the time lol. She liked cleaning my wheels..which was a godsend for me because I despised cleaning those hanabis! She knows almost nothing about cars so she was real proud when she put the SRI on all by herself:lol:

slightly jealous that you happen to know females interested in cars. i thought they were like unicorns.. good luck with the build man. milano red is a pain. life'd be so much easier with a different color body lol. nice job on the bumper though.

OK well today I attempted to lower my car...

Here is how the car started:

After 4.5 hours The front was done.. And here is the condition of the old front springs:

Now I know why my front looked like it was already lowered a bit lol..

Problem with the rear... It could not be done.. I need new lower arms, all new bolts and the river upper rear control arm and bolt (snapped the head off of it..

So the rear is SUPER jacked up and the front is slammed lol.. Pics of the car in its current state tomorrow.. Hopefully I can do the rear in a week or two.
