Soon to be first time owner

So I have a couple buddies that have gotten me excited about imports and I want to get my first one. They both drive civic hatches. I wanted to go a little different and get the more sporty looking Teg GSR. I am currently driving a 2000 grand prix GT and was thinking about putting it up for sale to purchase an Integra. Do you guys think I could get enough to a fairly stock or bone stock GSR between 94-97? What range should I be looking to pay for the GSR? Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the Club!! anywhere from 3500- 4500 is what you should spend!
Cool thanks for the reply. GSR is tough to find around my area. Only one I have seen so far decently priced was riced up. Atlanta area is where I am looking by the way.

Welcome to C.I ! Sound's like a good idea to get rid of that thing, the only cool Pontiac is a T.A w/the LS-1 of course. $3,500 - $4,500 should be a safe bet, dont go w/ a riced up one cause it was probably abused unless mabey it was owned by an adult. If you get one your friends might get a little jealous cause a hatch is hot but a Tegg is hotter, it just looks better. Watch out for rust underneath and any real bad leaks as well cause this simple stuff is overlooked alot believe it or not. Also when you drive it listen to the V-tec cause if it stutters or kicks back out the oil probably has'nt been changed or the proper maint. was'nt done, just to give you a head's up on a few things so good luck man. :drive:

thanks I appreciate the heads up. One of my boys is alll for me to get the GSR but the other wants me to get the LS. I want the VTEC I hear so many good things about it and how much more power it creates. I am just hoping I could get about $6000 for the Grand Prix and find a Teg around 4000-4500 and drop the left over money right back into it. My buddy has springs for me just waiting so I can drop it as soon as I get it.

You'll definitly get better gas mileage.
Yea that is part of the reason I am seriously thinking of selling it because I am about to move back to Atlanta and it would just be more economical
