the other night at approx 1:47am I was driving home from my friends house. I took the freeway like i do every night. I approached my offramp and began to take the gradual into hairpin turn to the main street by my house. I'm going at about 50 like normal into the first section of the turn and i notice something off to the right. ITS A CHEVY TAHOE PULLING OUT INTO THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD. not looking where hes going or having any regard for fellow drivers he just pulled out into the road in front of me. luckily i saw him in time to swerve around him on the inside of the turn. unfortunately at this point after trying to correct myself back onto the road going 45in a slight over steered drift I realize that I hadn't passed the hairpin yet... there it was straight in front of me and a big ass curb was getting closer by the second. all i could do was brace myself for impact and fear of complete destruction of my front left wheel and all suspension brakes etc that go with it. after hitting the curb and not being injured I immediately drove to the shoulder and checked the damage. oh btw the guy who caused this catastrophe took off like a douche bag.

total cost for retail+labor repairs $2,700 at a dealership
luckily my pops has some connections at body shops and knows mechanics who have extra parts off of a 98 gsr
total repair cost after the hook ups to be determined but should be less than half of the quoted value
keep my baby in ur prayers that she make a full recovery
