I don't even know what model the alarm is cause I can't find it. The remote says Viper CE0890 and RPN 474V. Off google all i found is remote start car alarm etc but I can't find anything on vipers website for it. Lol

I cant believe its your car and you cant find the alarm xD. I would search for days upon days to find it lmao. Where is the sound coming from?

i did...i used what i found online and that bitch wouldnt sync at all...we tried and looked for more/better instructions for 2-3 hrs couldnt get it to work. we finally put my old one back in. since then i've been trying to get in contact w/ the guy i bought it from off here... dgaplin or something like that...i PM'd him and bumped his FS thread w/ his GSR...no contact

It probably has the chip in it where you need a special tool to break the code. I forget what it's called, but it's so nobody can sync a remote to your car.

so about syncing the remote..

at my install for the viper 5704.. the installer had such a hard time getting it to sync with the brain that was just installed..

after about 3 hours.. we tried a new antenna.. and with the new antenna it worked just fine.. maybe the antenna is broken?

hope this helps you.. even brand new antenna out of the box was broken on mine.. :(
