shudder on take off

Hi I have a 1991 Integra & it has been a brilliant car for all these years but lately I have 2 problems with it 1.it has just started to shudder & almost stop after it has been running for awhile whenever I stop at a red light & 2. when I reverse or slow down to turn a corner when I hit the gas it shudders & feels like the break is on (when it isn't) & wont change up into second gear (it is an automatic) then all of a sudden it will & it runs smooth until the next corner by the time I get home I can smell burning a bit like rubber I can't see any smoke though...can anyone tell me what this could be .......thanks :(:shock:

Igntion wires? low transmission fluid? Idle air control valve out of adjustment? It would be a good idea to have a mechanic look at it.
