B181 will be easier to find, cheaper and when yourcar is stolen you won't be AS upset. You as stated, need to fix codes before assuming your mileage. Codes like running rich etc can cause a 10MPG drop, easy. Also, have your timing checked, that can usually impact mileage as well. If you wanna swap, look at my post above. the C5 is more expensive for minimal more power, take that money and buy some parts from me, and with an intake and a few things youll have more power than your c5 wuld make.
When my car is stolen?! Thanks...

Im not planing on buying a c5... Too much money.

What do you guys mean running rich?!

I'm not tryna be a douche lol, I was just saying if you blow your motor or you lose the car, you will feel better about a GSR with similar power than a type R. Running rich refers to the air/ful ratio/mixture, basically over fuleling the egine. It'll harm mileage etc, I'd double check all your codes, list them here and we can help.

Ok heres the best advice you're going to hear...
No! Don't trade your B16 for a LS B18B. Your engine and trans is worth much more...

If you're getting that bad MPG it's very likely because you have had bad driving habits. I've gotten as bad as 21MPG because I was driving harsh testing it out. Anyway, if you have a 94-01 Integra, that motor is NOT in its own Em1 chassis. An Integra is going to be slightly heavier. It would be like driving with an extra passanger all of the time which may be the cause of the gas issues a long with driving habits. Also, if you need maintenance fuel filter, tune up, etc.

15MPG with a small motor (Esp no torque), Heavier car, Bad driving habits, Maintenance.
A lot of things can be involved.

Go on Clubcivic and trade somebody with a B18C. Your B16A can be states legal (BAR) and a bunch of Civic owners would want that.

What ECU are you running on now with your B16 swap? How are your driving habits? Throttle body codes need fixed and you'll have more response. Just make sure to do your own research utilizing all that the web has to offer. Just wanting to trade your motor IMO shows that you want an easy fix and aren't willing to dig in. You could possible just need a new ECU, get tuned, or replace gaskets or O2 sensor. Also, if someone told me my car was running "rich" I would at least google that instead of coming right back out here and asking what "rich" is. You'll be proud when you figure something out yourself mang.

ebonics

then come back and try again.

1- your mechanic friend ripped you off horribly
2- a b18c1 with a LS trans is going to be slow as hell
3- FIX YOUR CURRENT SET UP

He didn't mean as in your car is for sure going to be stolen, he meant it as these cars get stolen a lot, so if you're one of the unlucky folk who this happens to, you'll be a little less disappointed having a c1 rather than a c5.
