Oh so i thought i Updated the thread with stuff but guess not.

AC delete button - i think it was made for an ITR because the color is different

Pulled out the evaporator

[/IMG]
evaporator housing

evaporator - going into the white knight

Its easier to do this delete if you have no airbag, or take out the dash honestly

Comparison of the gromet and delete plug

delete plug installed

All the nasty shit that was in the evaporator box

If you decide to do this, tape up the holes in the evaporator box

And my engine bay as of now

They mustve changed the climate control color after a certain year im guessing. I knew they did with the actual temperature color slide layover. My 96 has black cloth interior & all plastics are solid black. I recently noticed in Toms car (98 black leather) that his climate control is gunmetal, the same as your new button. I believe all interior trim colors available had the same color climate controls.. not sure.

That evap box junk is disturbing hahah, i bet mine is filled with crap. Did it effect the AC at all? Also, is that VC painted silver or stripped??

Looking good!! :thumbs up It would be easier to take out the dash. I remember when I had to change my Ac expansion valve and there was absolutely no space. Haha

Maybe the grey is supposed to match the light grey part of the faux carbon

My "aem" Sri is better than your aem Sri hahahah

Hmm I have the airbag in and the dash in and I didnt have a problem when I took out my evap to gut it. All I had to do was remove the glovebox, then from there it was just playing with ratchet extentions, pretty easy stuff. Surprisingly heavy little thing huh. Mine looked the same way, tons of sand and leaves and god knows what.

Bay is looking good bro.

Yeah I mean its not the hardest thing with the airbag in but I was just able to reach in and undo stuff that way. Thanks man!

Some people like to remove their power steering to help keep in a straight line for drag. Plus less resistance on the crank.

I don't think its that bad when the car's moving but its okay cause you get a work out for your arms. Double Whammy! :thumbs up

I think the real question is... no AC!?!?! Are you crazy?!?! Lol

no PS??? how do you like fighting with the steering while you race?
I don't fight it. I haven't had PS in 3 years lool it's actually better now I have the personal. The Momo was maybe not the best choice idk.

Looking real clean bro. Shoot that reminds me I need to eventually post some updates on my build.
Thanks man
