*Edit* Did this before work so I didnt have time to give better info.

Any way first race was horrible I know stupid me I wasnt paying attention.

1/4 - 17.9

r/t .791

Second race

1/4 - 17.6

r/t .003

Any way I didnt get to say in third gear my car starts to just pretty much stops accellerating making no power, happened both races. My launch was perfect second race but still a crappy E/T. Im going to check everything tonight and find out what is going on with it. If its supposedly the same hp/tq as the 2000 he shouldnt have beat me as badly as he did.

it could be his first time driving, everyone has to learn somewhere...

mods dont mean jack in this scenario unless he messed something up bad... even with bad launches i was a second faster in a factory stock integra ls. 16.7 was one of my worst times.

mod list would help alot as cody requested.

Alright so anyway doing a bit of tests on the car I found out in every cylinder the compression is 100 Psi and according to some research it should have 200 Psi. Very big issue just put onto me. As for mods, stock except a catback exhaust and short ram intake both were on it when I bought it. But I think the big factor would be the compression issue. Now i get to figure out what could cause that before I pull the head off and check the valves. Right now what I think happened was who ever timed it last didnt set it properly, but the problem is I dont have any knock what so ever. So Im kind of stumped right now.

yeah with those mods you should be hitting 16.3 ish i think is the mark for itnegras. But was that for all pistons or just one?

Wait... What?
Actually I drive just fine. Please dont insult me you know nothing about me.
I know you ran a 17 second 1/4 mile ... and that kind of mentality won't get you down the strip any faster.

You don't pull the whole head off to access the valves. Just thought I would save you some time and frustration. If the compression is 100 psi in every cylinder, your engine might be trying to go. When was the last tune up and how many miles are on the engine? Have you tried running some compression restorer yet?

Sure I did but you just jumped to one conclusion dont be so damn inconsiderate I'm not some punk
kid that just thinks his car is just hot shit. I was only informing that some thing has to be wrong
running that slow considering another car I raced, same as mine but a 2000 ran 16.24 with a worse R/T than mine.

FYI if they're bent yes you do. I did a tune up bout 3 months ago, and I change my oil every 3,000 miles. It only has a 121,000 on it.

I dont understand why you guys think this is funny. I have no fucking idea why this even happened theres no knock so I dont think my valves are bent but I dont know.

Whether or not your valves are bent is irrelevant. I think you mean valve cover. The fact is if you pull the whole head off, you will be looking at the crankshaft. Try doing research before you get sarcastic.
