Rust

Hi everyone,

I have some rust on my car. Not major. A spot on my both doors. I don't know if it is better to repare that or just replace doors.

if it's a spot, you can try to repair it, but if it's a SPOT then you should probably replace the door. lol

do you feel as if its too big to be grinded down, primered and repainted? if not, fix-er-up...if you think its too much...i'd hit password jdm for a pair of ITR doors.

IVE HAD SOME RUST SPOTS ON MY FIRST DC2 I FIXED THEM.. BIG OR SMALL.. JUST GET A GRINDER GRIND IT DOWN NICLY.. CLEAN THE AREA THAT WAS GRINDED.. GET SOME BONDO(not from shucks or b&b) APPLY THE BONDO WAIT TO DRY AND SAND IF YOU PUT ALOT OF BONDO AND ITS A BIG SPOT YOU COULD USE GRIT 120.. I USUALLY USE 220 OR 320..

Correct...no side moldings. It looks ALOT cleaner without them. If you buy the ITR doors, it'll save you the hassle of finding a shop to weld metal into the holes, grind down the metal, then repaint.

You Dont Have To Weld On All My Dc2 S I Taped The Out Side And Put Fiberglass On The On Side Wait To Fry Take The Tape Off Than I Put A Little Finish Bondo And Primer It And Your Done.. Thats Just If You Want To Save Alot Of Money

I'll check back in a year when Mr. Bondo and his angry friend Metal decide to not get along after awhile and your "money saved" turns into "more money spent." Bondo/fiberglass and metal dont like to work with each other. Bondo is meant for fiberglass and urethane, not metal. It'll be a real PITA to have to repaint your doors when the paint starts cracking from the bondo failing on you.

Im Not Trying To Argue With You But I Had 4 Integras And To Each One I Used The Same Method.. It Works Perfectly Fine Ive Had My Last Teggy For Over 2 Years And I See No Cracks Or Anything
