Phew good! I usually take mine off when I'm not using it. But I have my yakima and it works awesome, I use it when I am moving back home for the summer and back to school in the winter. Would for sure recommend it. Plus it is pretty low profile looking if you get the new styled fairing from yakima. Here is a pic to show you how much crap I put on it with no slippage or problems.
