Replacing the clutch...

My only thought would be to put the pedal back where it was, however I'm not exactly sure what the problem could be?

I adjusted the pedal, and cable, and found that If I have the cable loose enough, it dosent make the noise, but then there is way too much slack at the pedal. I have it adjusted so there is about 1/2 in. play at the tip of the pedal, and the noise is quieter than it was before, and you can shift it in gear fine. The fix to eliminate the problem that I came up with was to use a 1/4in. thick piece of round aluminum bar stock. I applied heavy duty double sided foam sticky tape, and applied it to the piece, and the rubber bumper stop that the pedal bottoms out on. It dosent make the noise at all this way, and I dont have to worry about not pushing it down to far - thats as far as it goes. I put insurance on the car, and started driving it today. I was wondering where the temp guage should read when is is fully warmed? Mine is a little under half, does that seem normal? Next on my list is a cold air intake, and a free flowing muffler, like flowmaster. Does anyone have any advice on them if im going to be using the stock piping for now? Thanks again, and I love my acura!
