Removing stock steering wheel

Pop off the center cover and you'll see a nut inside. I believe it is a 19 mm. Haynes manual recommends you mark the nut and stud. Once you take the nut off you can wiggle the wheel off and there will be one electrical connection to unplug if you have cruise control. It might not be a bad idea to unhook the battery when you put it back on so you don't hit the horn repeatedly putting the cover back on.

What is lock to lock?You dont need to mark the wheel. As long as you center the steering wheel before you remove it, and once you install it again go lock to lock youll be fine.

When you turn the wheel all the way to the left and all the way to right. Count how man turns it takes to go from locked left to locked right. Divide by 2 and count and you returne to dead center(steer ahead).
Your center emblem take a screw driver and pry up at the bottom of the cover its on. It should pop off. Then you will see a 19mm nut. Break the nut loose. It may be a pita when its broken loose turn your wheel back to steer ahead because you will prolly move it. take the nut out and pull the wheel off if you dont have cruise control

It cant be that much different. You dont have an airbag, so you dont need to unbolt it from the steering wheel.

i just did this a month ago. its alot less complicated then you would think. once the cover is off its just that one bolt and the wheel just comes right off. but ya make sure your dead nuts center or you cause yourself a head ache when your putting yo0ur new wheel back on. but its a super easy process
