we used a gel paint stripper bought at walmart with a few scotch bright pads (there were at least 3 layers of different paint on the mr2 valve cover) but that sh*t even melted the gloves!!! have a few sets of gloves handy. Then we wet sanded and polished... SHINNY!!:thumbs up

Yea if you want to ruin your valve cover. It's only aluminum, you'll scratch it all up.

1 - remove vc
2 - aircraft remover
3 - DONT LET IT TOUCH YOU
4 - paint it ?
