I dont know all their numbers except my buddys silvia. I go to the drift meets down in pats acres oregon. His silvia is putting around 700.
Clarify more about his teg though. Im assuming he is just doing a bolt on turbo. If he is doing a full system with the intercooler, blow off, geader and all that would make a huge difference expecially if he is going to use a t3/t4
I assumed cause he is a college student he didnt wan to spend a few thousand dollars getting the full turbo ssytem
Ahahahaha this. Yes. Because there is a turbo that is "bolt-on" that doesn't require supporting mods. You're a douche.
Also, OP, you and I are in the same boat. I have had a few honda-specializing mechanics tell me that they wouldn't be afraid to boost a 220k mile motor with the reputation the b18c1 has. But I feel better about rebuilding first as well. Also broke and in college.
From what I can tell, our motors can only handle about 8-9psi with an average turbo setup. Which should feel pretty crazy fast. The only boosted car I have owned was a dsm with a 20g. On 10psi that thing would scream. So in a high compression, higher-revving b series, and 8psi with good supporting mods, I am sure you could have some fun with it.
