Radiator fans not working?

So Ive noticed that my radiator and ac fans have not been working... I dont know when they stpped but probably a while ago. We jumped the fans to the battery and both work so its not the fans. We also looked at the fuses and its not the fuses.

What could be the problem? And also had to get my ac recharged last year, and this summer its out again. I havent had any troubles with overheating either.

Can anyone help? btw its a 94 rs manual.

No the ac right now wont work and neither will the fan for it. Im debating on skipping the money having to spend at a dealer and just putting a toggle switch to the radiator fan. But idk about the ac fan...

If your A/C doesnt work, including everything along with it, I'd just delete it and put a switch on the idle fan like you said.

Well it works, i think it just needs a recharge and i need to replace whatever part is causing it to slowly leak. I kinda want to keep my ac... 90 degrees outside and black leather interior sucks! I have to open my 2 doors and hatch just to freakin air it out.

Wire it up too I guess lol.
Check for rusted grounds or something. Check the wiring for rust or cuts.

lol. Well i dont think thats the problem to be honest... I think it might be something under the dash but i have no idea :/

What could i wire the radiator fan to so that i have to have the car on in order for it to work?

I'm not sure how people wire it up to manually turn it on. People that have that need to step up or try to find something. Never needed to. lol

Have you checked the relays for the fans? If they don't turn on for the a/c I would assume that it is the relays or a bad wire to the relay. I know there is one relay below the a/c fan near the center of the car (as opposed to the driver side).

Fan working when jumped, but not when plugged in normally is fan switch. You are "jumping" the fan switch to test if everything else is good. Are you sure you are actually getting up to the temperature where the stock fan switch will engage? If you turn the A/C on in the car (even though you say it doesnt get cold), do the fans turn on?

Relay should be in the engine bay fuse box IIRC.

You can wire the fans to a switch by running a wire from the battery to a switch. The other prong of the switch going to the fan, then grounding the fan. Put an in line fuse between the switch and the fan. Done.
