clean your wheels as best you can, then wax them dust will literally fall off if you wax them well enough.
i used the hawk hp+ pads and they have a lot of dust residue left over. and once i used my waxing the dust wasn't as much as an issue

i guess if i'd stop buying white, polished or anodized colors it wouldn't bother me
