i don't disagree on owning a civic. i had one before i got my teg ;) i was just poking fun
yeah...but to think about it a Civic is like an Integra...just differnt engines, suspensions, and visual looks...pretty much same basis and reason on making them...

i remember back when the gas prices were like .99 during the summer when my cousin first got her civic. i was drivin a 4dr blazer and she would spend like $4 and fill up her tank. that sucked. wish i had my civic then, i'd have a whole lot more money. :D

True about the Civic to Integra similarities, but it's better to say you have an Acura Integra than a Honda Civic. It just sounds better, i've owned both so..............

When I had my Civic I use to tell all the girlies "yeah I have a 2002 Honda Civic" and they'd be all "Cool". You think thats a good answer until you own an Integra. Now when the girlies ask what car I drive and I tell them "An Acura Integra". They are like "That's so cool. Take me for a ride." or "Oh, I love integras. What's your number?" The best answer I've gotten out of all is "I wanna f**k your car. Meet me at my place later." Come on fellas, now is there anything better than that? True story too...............

im not too sue why i love imports so much. i think its just the next generation of dragsters. im sure most of our parents or parents u know drove muscle cars. they did it out of a type of rebellion as are we. i think the import scene gives people a way to express themselves through mods and bodywork. just like the old muscle cars.

what gets me is the look i get when i peel the paint off a 00 gt. and he asks me "what you boostin'?" or "what kind of supercharger u got?" or "how much you sprayin'?" just the look on their face when i say its n/a, is priceless. out of a 4-banger??!!

about the teg vs civic. i completely agee with you guys when you say integra sounds better. i used to own one and it was a beautiful car 1998 blk on blk leather gsr. but i want speed. as much as i can get. i was pissed every time a muscle hatch dipped on me. tegs are just heavy. i kept my motor, built it and put it in a 1900 lb car. i KILL tegs now. all n/a tegs i raced so far has become food. and its almost as fun as beating fords and chevys.

no offense. :)

Thank you Hyper, you finally said what I was trying to say. A rebellion is a way to put it. And yeah, back when our parents were my age, they did it with muscle cars. My dad had two, a 41 Ford pick-up and a Wrambler Station wagon with a Corvette engine dropped in it. Every time I tell my dad a race story or throw an idea about what I want to do, he just looks and says, "just like me when i was ur age". And the greatest thing is, I get to educate him on the B series. He's a master tech but, like most tech's, doesn't know engine codes.

To me picking an import over a muslecar is easy. I have a lot more satisfaction getting a car that isn't really that fast and then turning it into a beast of a machine. I could have went the "mustang" route but that wouldn't have been much fun. That car is already fast and then what, not too much improvement there unless i go supercharger. But with our import we can go from a measly 140 or so horsepower and get to 200+ horsepower and beat that " mustang". To me that is far more satisfying to say that I accomplished that feat. I think thats why we do it, we all look to beat the odds and overcome the challenges. Plus its always fun to say that your car beat a GT.

Got a story for ya

So I got a new car right, Found On the Road Dead. Well after getting in home, I had to Fix Or Repair Daily. I couldn't figure out what kind of vehicle it was until I was done. Its a F***ed Over Rebuilt Dodge is all it is. My great grandpa has one. His is a Flipped Over Reservation Decoration. And then a guy I went to school with races his. He's always F***ed On Race Day. At my job one of the drives had to deliver a transmission to this guy I know and I lent him my car. Well needless to say, the Driver Returned On Foot.
