Practiced Panning shots....

I was bored and hopped up on my back fence and started panning random ass cars driving by for practice. I deleted and won't upload the POS pics, and after several minutes I ended up with several pretty decent panning pics... At least, IMO I did. lol


What do you guys think? Anything I should try to make future shots better? The last two Panning shots are the best I think...

Sorry, forgot that info, I used a 6.7 Aperture, ISO 400, and a 1/30 shutter speed on my Rebel XS /w standard zoom lens

MOTION BLUR FTW lol

for just moving with the car and snapping shots those came out good lol keep practicing, try using a tripod for a more stable shot

^Meh, it's pretty nice none the less. I'll try out some more panning with a tri-pod later. My tripod is a POS though, it might F up the shots.

Rolling is when you're moving WITH the subject. Panning is following the subject while the shooter is sitting still.
