Just gotta chime in here for a second. I found this thread looking for info on this topic, used the search feature. You gripe about someone not using the search bar and then you gripe because they add information to a post found using the search feature. Which way do you want people to go? Would you like them to post a new thread every time they have a question or would you prefer to have them add to something that is already on topic?
As for my car, the pulley on the pump stops spinning when I try to turn the wheel. The car does not want to turn at all when this happens, but it doesn't always do this either.
At rest, it appears to be fine. I know this is a problem and I too have fluid everywhere. but I am not losing any power steering fluid. I am in the process of looking for the leak right now. I have fixed some problems I have found such as the radiator overfill cap being busted an spewing all over the engine. I will continue to track down my particular issue.
What a first post, right?
