Power Steering Leak. Please advise!

Hey guys, I have a power steering leak that has been going on for some time. I run through a full reservoir of the fluid every fill-up. And then I can hear the squeaking of the steering mechanism until I re-fill. Now, I keep re filling because I dont want to burn out the mechanical components, But the fluid is leaking all over the compartment and getting on my pulleys and dirtying up my engine bay and driver side wheel. I dont like it. Now, I have a mechanic friend I am meeting up with A mechanic buddy on Monday to go riding who can help me out, but id like your opinions because you have integra experience. What hoses need to be replaced, I see power steering high pressure hoses but they come in anywhere from 2-25ft? WTF? and are there multiple hoses I need to replace? I would rather replace all the power steering lines/hoses rather than trouble shoot for the 1/3 or 1/4 (however many hoses comprise the system) that is leaking. So i guess what I am asking for are a list of the hoses needed and if possible a good place to buy them. and the length of the hoses as they are always listed in different lengths.... thankyou... if I wasnt clear enough please let me know...

it could be the pivot rack thing or just the axle or you always have the option of removing your power steering all together! oh and PS there is a search bar that is very handy

Didnt mean to be pushy... I checked the search bar but couldnt find exactly whats up and heres why...

I just posted a thread about my check engine light, and the VSS (vehicle speed sensor) is coming up as faulty... now, i did some research and it appears as if the power steering hoses give some fluid to the VSS so it can function properly.. so could my leaking hoses be causing my VSS to malfunction? Has anyone heard of this? Obviously this isnt an easy question but thanks to all who try n tackle it.

its possible that it is affecting the sensor but sounds to me like the pump itself be taking a turn for the worse but it could be just the return hose thats not tightened down enough checka ll the hoses and make sure they are secured everyonce in a while they will come loose

i got the same problems too. on my teg it seems to be the high pressure line. my pulley and hood is covered with fluid. imma replace the high pressure line and reservoir lines too.

Look up at the top left of the posts above yours in the thread...notice the date?
Try not to bring back threads that died 2 years ago.

I had the same problem, the problem with mine was that the pully from the timing belt was digging into the power stearing pipe and over time had tore a whole into the pipe, you should check the metal pipes that the stearing fluid run through, its located right under or to the right of the pully, check to make sure theres no holes in it, they might need to be replaced.

Keep It Clean
had a leaking a power steering pump, ended up taking it apart and replacing all seals and it fixed it right up
power steering pumps and hoses are the easy fixes, that's great you got it fixed. when power steering rack seals go bad...it sucks.
