How does a bad throw out bearing trigger a misfire CEL? Someone should send the seller that question...

the bearing is grinding causing a vibration causing the knock sensor to think it is pinging and pulling timing to the point of a very mild misfire. not hard enough to feel a real miss but enough for the computer to see it.
