The problem with even having tint is that thieves will break into your car, in case they might find something of value. Since they cannot see inside the vehicle, then they will take their chance and possibly come up, or not.
Happened to me once. Of course they found nothing of value. Filed a police report, and had to pay for a new window, along with new tint to be installed. Those are the downsides.
Yeah sometimes dark tint will not work in your favor, but usually it does. The thief will not want to risk breaking into your car if they can't tell whether your teg is equipped with an alarm. Then again the more "professional" thieves will just assume there is and do what they do.
My tint is pretty dark (20%) but in retrospect I wish I would of had it tinted darker. In regards to valuables Im never concerned about that as I keep nothing of high value in my teg.
Like I have said before I am very cautious with my teg to the point of extreme paranoia. I do own a gun and have my CCW but thats only good for when I catch the thieves in the act.
Plus Im pretty confident that the many layers of security will thwart of most amateur to semi-professional thieves away from my baby.
Fucking stupid fast and furious. Man I remember before that movie came out like back in the late nineties you NEVER heard of people having their Civics/Integras stolen. Once that dumb shit came out the theft rate for our cars literally increased exponentially.
Anyways, thieves suck dick.
