Picking out an exhaust! HELP..

hey what's up guys(and girls).

I need your help with picking out a new exhaust system. My OEM exhaust that i have now is shorter than normal due to no cat so its melting my bumper and i recently got the whole car painted. Its turning yellow'ish towards the bottom so i have to change that out asap! Perfect excuse to get a new exhaust as it already has problems, such as rattling (and its not loose). So I'd like to hear your setups and reviews on them.

I had an eye on the Apexi WS2, GReddy Spectrum Elite, GReddy Ti-C and Buddy Club Spec III (3). Let me know what you guys think.. Thanks in adavance! :)

my vote is for the ws2 or find a type R exhaust somewhere. I dont have experience with the others though.
the ws2 will be nice because its new, but its also $550+.
The type R exhaust is sweet because it sounds a little meaner than stock and its OEM. And it will be a lot cheaper.

Yeah i was originally looking for an ITR exhaust but then started looking into others. I would agree w/ you for the most part. jhpusa.com sells the itr muffler and the B-Pipe so it would be around 500ish.. would you suggest me buying it from there or look for someone selling it elsewhere? I'd like to get it asap since my current muffler is burning my bumper :(
That's exactly what im looking for; something with a nice agressive/deep tone to it but not super loud.

I heard good stuff about the yonaka catback, its similar to the ws2 and its 250 shipped.

The itr exhaust is sexy as can be if your looking for the stock look and sound. I give thumbs up to that :thumbup:

the yonaka is only for the LS/00-01gsr i believe. it wont bolt up to the 94-99 gsr.

WS2 is clean, I think the TI-C might be a 2.5 inch but I could be wrong. The Ws2 is your typical 2.36. Its quiet, and will come alive when you get on it. Thats my vote.

WS-2 is a great sound, little too loud for my tastes.
I went with the Apexi NOIR, and i'm in love with it.
Nice easy sound for normal driving, v-tec makes it sound very nice, then once it its 6k it's drop dead gorgeous:)
Tat's just my opinion.

Neither will the ITR. You can make them fit by adding a 4 1/2 extension between the cat and b-pipe though...

If you're going ITR, look for a used one, much cheaper...

By the way you're still gonna need a new cat or test pipe to get your exhaust the right length...
