just bought my integra with a newly rebuilt poor mans type r swap. b16 head with b18c1 block. itr internals p30 pistons dc fuel rail headers dc sports intake p28 ecu with chrome. i have no idea what the horsepower is so i was wondering if anybody had any clue what it might be

ill give it 170 a gsr with itr cams with a tune and simple bolt ons is roughly 170

i was thinking it would be around 180hp im still breaking the engine in though has less than 2000 on it then ill dyno it after i tune it. the only thing in th engine stock is the crank

Why don't you take your car to the dyno?

you put it on the dyno to tune it fyi. to my knowledge you can not street tune on chrome. My estimates were BHP measurements so take 15% off and you should be around mid 170 mid 180s.
your car doenst need to be broken in to dyno it

im gonna take it to the dyno. i just gotta get some more money im a broke college kid. well im just going off of what the guy i bought the car told me but ill dyno it when i get the money and ill post uo what its pushing

I was under the impression that a stock 2001 gsr stock produces 170 block horsepower. If he's running a b 16 head with the jdm p30 high compression pistons, correct,t me if I'm wrong, but he should be well over 200 HP....
I'm vetting ready to do the exact same thing in my 01 gsr. Using my stock bottom end with the stock pistons in my b 18 c 1, . I'm hoping to be well over 200 using this talk pistons in my gsr. It is using the high compression j d m p 30 pistons those pistons itself should be 12.76 to 1...
Question: what pistons come in a 2001 gsr, and what's there compression ratio. I've got a b 18 c 1 using the ls crank ls rods with p 30 pistons in my ls vtech setup, using a 2000 b16 head, never had it dyno'd. But my ls/vtec crx walks my gsr ridiculously ... and im fully aware that thiscrx is probably half as light as my integra. But the fundamentals of the internals is pretty much identical, as the above post says... this maybe an old post but it is very relevant information that I am curious to find out. Please keep in mind I'm writing this post on my phone in traffic, rush hour traffic at that. So please excuse my spelling and typos

You are a bit misinformed my friend. GSR Block running JDM P30 pistons with a GSR head will run roughly am 11.53:1 CR. I also run these pistons. You need supporting mods to gain the power that can be used by that compressions. You'll need: header, exhaust, intake, and cams. Without a good cam setup you won't be making that kind of power. Dylan runs pr3 pistons in his gsr, and on ctr cams, makes 166whp, with a dented header and crappy intake. His limiting factor right now is cams. CRX has a ridiculously light shell when compared to an integra.

hit up Tom Price at TomZ Auto Tuning and he'll be able to fine tune and you can use a virtual dyno for a more accurate estimation
