Opinions? Military OD green or black?

I have a question for anyone and everyone! I have a 1991 Acura integra (4 door) that im completely redoing... inside AND out! the interior is already chosen... ive got one door panel done so far and im very happy with how it turned out! it is satin black with some mossy oak accents... the seats will be done in mossy oak and black cloth too... i just put indiglow gauges in it and updated the sound system a little... and seeing as the interior wont take much longer to get done i need to plan the exterior... and so my question is... Military olive drab? flat, satin, or gloss back paint job? or does anyone have another idea or color scheme to suggest? i havent been able to decide what i want to do for sure and so im asking for your opinion! i will post pictures up as soon as i get the time to! thanks for your help guys! :D

I have been thinking of the same thing for a long time as well. I was in the army and alot of things kind of stuck like the fact i think everything is better in camo. The 2 options I am thinking is OD Green and then dooing some army stencels in black. the other option I have to me is there is a place in town where i live that dose full bodywrap decals in whatever I want so I was thinking a full wrap in ARMY Digital. both I think would look fucking sweeeeeet and be something diffrent form all the other stuff.

Awesome! i would do it! you have more reason to then i do... i was never in the military... im just a fan lol different is better! some people might think it sounds like an ugly idea but you never really know till its done! (like my door panel) i had alot of my friends thought it was going to turn out ugly... they changed thier minds when they saw the final product! i will post some pics when i get the chance... its raining outside right now!

Glad your not going with the same old, not my style but it might turn out looking great.
Just ignore any negative comments you get. You'll get them wherever you post, so just do what you want with the car.

I saw a camo Integra at the last Honda meet I went to. I don't think I got a picture of it though. :\

my buddy did it on his CRX and it looks sick, it was OD green and all the trim was black.. I want to do an ACU pattern car but in flat paint not a wrap. Doing all the patterns would be a pain in the a**

GO ARMY!! sorry x special forces had to get out cause I got hit by an IED and almost lost my leg shit sucks

the green looks amazing when its glossy. my friend also did the army green look on his civic eg and had a ton of clear coat on it and it looks so sexy. GO GREEN...i mean my cars green too its a good color no matter what shade.

i appreciate your guys opinions good or bad! im thinking i might go with the od green but maybe do a light gloss... like a satin tone with it... im just worried the interior wont match the rest of the car! lol im still working on the pics... gotta figure out the camera! lol i havent been able to finish out the interior yet cause i hurt myself! i think i cracked a rib.... anyhoot thanks again guys! pictures soon! =O)

You will thoroughly IMPRESS me if you can manage to do it in ACU Digital greens. Or if you go dark do USMC Marpat...Id swerve away from OD tho, looks ok on HMMVVs and trucks, Murder flat black looks ok til you get some oily crap on it (or bird crap)...but its your car...you gotta look at it, not me.

good point with the flat... i didnt think about that! as for the digital patterns... I WISH! lol too much time involved to do that myself... im sure it would be spendy to pay someone to do it too... i dunno... i think i might look into it! its going to be a good couple 2 or 3 months till its ready for paint anyways... thanks for the input! =O)
