Old radiator leaking, suggestions for new one?

My current radiator is leaking from the lower hose fitting, I had it pressure tested and was told the fitting was cracked and that I needed a new radiator. They wanted $600 for it, but there was no way I was doing that...
So first, is this something that requires a whole new radiator?
If so, is an oem type replacement fine? She's just a daily driver with a stock motor, so I don't have massive cooling needs.

And please, no "Mishimoto or OEM or nothing" comments, I'm on a tight budget and don't need a performance rad.

Thanks! :)

My friend bought a TYC one off of amazon and it ended up being a KOYO replacement radiator lol. Hasn't had a problem.

I bought a Spectra one from autozone. The first one had a leak so I returned it and the second time, I've had no problems with it.

Price was roughly around $80-$100

I use a cheap ebay type radiator(didn't buy it off ebay, but its the same china made one). Its like the mishimoto one, just without the name and polish. Was only around 100 dollars and came with slim fans. I haven't had issues with it, nor have the several track guys that use the same exact one. People bag on the type I have, yet it works just as well. Baller on a budget, get whatever wont leak.

That being said though I am sure the cheap autozone one will work fine for you. If it leaks, just exchange it until you find one that doesnt leak. They have a warranty right? If it ever leaks just take it back and replace for free.

600? Damn. Yeah they were fucking you over. With that kind of money you can get a really nice 2 core radiator with slim fans and custom fitting done. Lol.

Get a new oem for about 100, or even a nice one from autozone or oreillys for a little more. Or if you just want a quick easy one you can get one from a junk yard like pick n pull or you pull it. 50 bucks, just be sure to bring a bottle of water to check it for leaks

I've gotten the 40 dollar ones off eBay a few times now, I'm really impressed with them

There are several cheaper alternatives. If you want an OEM style replacement, you can easily find one from RockAuto.com, Autozone, O'Rileys, basically whatever auto parts stores you have around you. (All for under $100.) If you want to spend more you can buy full built up shiny race radiators for a few hundred bucks.

It is easily installed by yourself, literally it is two 10mm bolts and two hose clamps on the radiator hoses. However if you simply have a cracked fitting then you can have it fixed. If you know how to solder you can fix it yourself in two minutes. A radiator shop might charge you $10 to do that. I just fixed one last night myself.

Alright, got a new rad and upper and lower hoses off ebay for under $75 shipped. Fingers crossed! If this ends up leaking I'll probably end up spending a bit more money on one.

I bought one for about $100 from Autozone.
If you buy a cap, $8, they come with a life long warranty.
Replaced mine about twice now with no hassle.

Just a thought if yours does not work out.
