Ok Im in need of some help

Iv always known it to be 5-30 till you hit around 75k and then 10-30 till death and how sure are you that its a tick? Could be a pin hole exhaust leak.

im pretty sure all non vtec DAs ask for 10-30. Thats what my manual said at least, i dont have the car anymore so i dont know what the cap said.
anywho, most hondas have fairly noisy valve trains anyway. are you sure yours is loud enough to indicate a problem?

Im pretty sure Im going to go thru every possibility that has been pointed out I know its not injector tick Ill take a video of it tomorrow while im at work and post when i get home. as stated it may just be the typical noisy honda valve train ill up date tomorrow with a video

You guys are lucky you don't have LMA's...brings in a whole nother level of ticking. I had a loud ticking in mine as well...replaced my lma's, got better, but still ticking. Finally pulled head and brought it in. 3 bent exhaust valves...

Og like most of us here use 10-30 let me know if am wrong ... but our engines have alot ticking that's y alot of us use 10-30 nd not 5-30 u know??
If your engine is healthy 5w30 is fine and what is recommended. Once it's heated, it's a 5 weight anyways.
