16mm isn't much of a wide angle for crop sensors. I thought Nikon made a 10-24 or something? What type of wide angle lens do you guys use? I see some on the net for a decent price but don't know much about what to look for.
Saw this one but don't know if I should get one with a lower fstop:

Yea, they do make a 10-24mm. I'll check that one out. Thanks dude!16mm isn't much of a wide angle for crop sensors. I thought Nikon made a 10-24 or something?
As for the speed, unless you were going to be using it handheld in lowlight what's the point, even then the most you'll get on a zoom is a 2.8 and that's not fast enough for it either. Usually f7.1-f11 max produces the sharpness results.
That's my plan. I never get to use a tri pod everything's always me holding my breath knuckles white trying not to make it blur. But I've been using my ISo way too high. I'd been asking joe and peara for help but I'm not going to any more.Good photos White
trying shooting at 200 iso...any lower is the best sharpness for any camera.
Keep in mind the darker it is outside the worst things can happen such as camera shake if you don;t bring a tripod..
Other then that...your getting better. Keep shooting..
