I've heard that the yonaka is comparable to the Apexi WS2 (which I currently have), but recently I drove a buddy's eg hatch with a Yonaka catback (Ws2 style) and once he hit 5.5k RPM it sounded horrible. Crackly, and just gross. I haven't done any research on the system, but if I were you guys I definitely would!
I have two friends with the yonaka on their DC's and they sound great along the entire powerband

start in 1, go to 2, then d3, then d4.... did it for almost a year before I did the manual swap

How exactly do you do this?
If you take of from a start in D3, your car will only go to third gear (tops out at like, 80 I believe). Don't take off from D2 because it's too sluggish, start from D3 and drop the knob to D2 when it shifts into second and it will stay in second gear till you shift it up (good to like, 60 mph). I' gonna make a video of it here for you guys to see, with enough practice you can be "rev matching" your auto lol

Update on this! Found out my buddy was running catless, and as most people know, can make all the difference in the world! Heard it with a cat on today and was surprised how well it sounded.

It is suprisingly good, particularly for the price

Best i've ever got was like 220 I think. So far lately, I've been getting 200. I average like 18-20. I'm not looking forward to tearing this motor apart.

What's all wrong with your motor? Just a full tune up, or something else? Because I was getting around the same when I bought my car.

Oil was pitch black, spark plugs & wires were burnt, distributor rotor cracked into two pieces when I pulled it out.
