O2 sensors help. Simple question!

I am replacing my exhaust, when I went to take the header out I pulled the wires from the housing, which they can plug back into no problem. My problem is I am unsure on which order they go in. I looked at the other 02 sensor for color order, plugged it in that order.

My question is, is the color order the same on both of the sensors or is there a different pattern for each sensor?

I did look it up, didn't really find anything helpful.

Thanks,
James

the wire should only be long enough to reach each o2 sensor the down stream o2 sensor (post cat) connecter is coming from under the passenger floor board, the upstream (pre cat) comes from the engine bay.

I know this. I am asking if each 02 sensor wires line up the same on both the pre and post cat. There is 1 green, 1 white, 2 black for each.

do the colors match? Is it a universal o2?

Doesn't matter about the black wires. You can hook them up anyway there it no polority and they won't cuase a short. Those are heater wires.

The green in ground the white is main important, its signals the ECU the A/F ratio.

Do not solder the wires. Use wire crimps, with shrink wrap is you have it.

If its a bosch sensor

2 white = 2 black =heater
1 gray = green = ground
1 blue = white = signal

Both are the stock 02 sensor, not replacements. It would be a Honda 1 according to that list.

I plugged them in last night, the same order the other 02 sensor is in, turned the key and no check engine light was on. Does that mean they are in order?

should be the same, you'll get a light if there wrong
That is what I am thinking. Like I said, I did turn the key and no light came on. If it does come on after its installed, I will just mess around with it more.

Thanks guys for the help.

You're good than. Goodthing you didn't pull the wires out the o2!

Well I got it all bolted up and its all ok. But the check engine light is on. I guess I will mess with the 02 sensor some more till its ok, or just take it somewhere with a lift. Easier than crawling under the car, haha.

Also one more thing I should mention. My integra is a LS, the exhaust is made for a gsr. So the header is shorter, making the cat longer. So both of the 02 sensors go into the cat instead of one into the header and one in the cat like on the LS exhaust. Will this make the CEL come on in this case as well?
