could be, i bought it brand new in the wrapper from Speed Tech in Calgary. i highly doubt its fabbed but made for the vehicle.

my sunroof opens about half way before it hits the rear bar. it all depends on how you have your bars set up. i can move my rear bar further back if i wanted to but the way its set up, it works perfect for my bikes in the summer and perfect for my snowboard in the winter.
