I'm using similar k20z1 head with the crv block, like you.
Same tranny. Kind of nervous about the set up. Not sure how the tranny will hold up with thy k24s torque

No issues. Just make sure you have a decent clutch and axles. I have a stage 2 exedy the 3 puck.. And DSS 2.9 axles
