So i'm in the process of purchasing a 94 black integra ls 5sp with the B18 engine. Now I saw the car and it looks like it has the cheapest ebay headers you can get, with a ugly intake system. It does have a sx or xs intake manifold not quite sure what that is. It's going to be my daily car so i need to do the regular maintance routine but what should i check first in the integras? I do want to replace the headers with the DC Sports and the intake manifold with a Skunk 2 maybe. Now I own a 87 Supra single turbo 5spd and its a big change from 3.0 turbo to a 1.8 vtec. Even though i'm getting a lot of shit from supra guys going the opposite way i'm still stiking with my decision, cause gas prices are busting my balls. My question is what are some steps i should take to make the car long lasting and better running, i'm not looking to any major upgrades cause i got a supra but i do want to do some bolt ons, such as headers with catback, intake, springs/shocks with 15" or 16" rims, maybe a fuel rail or cam gears later on. Thanks for the input.

last long?... regular maintenance is always a plus...

just get a factory intake manifold, and if you really want a DC sports exhaust manifold.

Aftermarket intake manifold won't do you any good if you're not planning on doing anything to this car.



Supra sounds pretty sweet tho. moar pix!! lol

Told you don't know too much about integras sorry. But yea i love MK3's they are so agressive i agree.

See if you can find an OEM intake and header. It's better not to get harassed by police, especially on your DD, depending where you live.

Well my plan is to put a Apexi WS2 muffler on the car which is not loud but still get same power. Some decent headers, now my question is if i want to change the inatke manifold to something aftermarket i do have to change the fuel injectors right? Probly get an apexi AFC for the car too. But lets say i want aftermarket headers, exhasut. intake manifold ( fuel injectors ) and maybe cams too on a 94 ls after i do the proper maintance check, at what type of horsepower gain am i looking at, 20 to 30 or less? I want the car to have decent power not just stoke.

Now I have to give ya some! I have both :) Bought the integra shortly before the 1JZ-GTE swap

correction the 1994 GSR had the B18C1

i believe instead of injectors you will need a throttle body
