I still support my F&F type 2's. Can't wait for their electronic dampening controller coming out soon. $800 bucks well spent in my full opinion. All of you slammin on the F&F's must be talking about the type 1's

I'll never get the full potential out of anything on my car. Does that mean I should stop buying forged wheels and stick to Rotas so I can get s***ty wheels cast out of bat guano and orangutan semen? Say fuuu to Michelin Pilot Sport tyres and pick up some Nankangs? Throw a finger to OMP and their seats and say SUP BEBE to some Bride of Canada?

WHO CARES WHAT IF I USE THE PARTS TO THEIR POTENTIAL? I support the companies that innovate. The companies that aim for the pinnacle of their field. Without these companies, you couldn't get your cheap trash.

Its just too bad that for everyone of me, OG, etc. (People who are willing to pay for/wait for quality, etc. Do things the right way) that there are seemingly 40 of you (People who will cheap out because they're brokeass fools who can't tell the difference between a Spoon N1 and a Spork.)
If you buy the most expensive things and dont use them for their intended purpose, you are defining the word coined for people who do that.

Like, I dont track my car and my wheels will never see the abuse of a tracked car, so I am very unlikely to spend $2000 on some forged wheels. Also, I dont need to take the highway exit at break neck speeds so I dont need the stickiest tires. There is line that I think should be toed between getting quality parts, and buying the best just to have the best.

I buy forged wheels because they look better and to support innovation, rather than the thieves who steal their designs.

I buy quality tyres because I want a tyre that is good in wet and dry, that is quiet and that will not crack my spine.

EX: I had Michelin PS2, they gripped for days, were quieter than stock and added ride comfort. I then had Kumho ASX (got new set of wheels, these were like new and included), they had no grip, were loud and I'm pretty sure I got an inch shorter over the 1 month I had the wheels/tyres.

The united states markets thrives on people using other peoples designs. It's the nature of competition. Competition sparks innovation because it requires companies to either: create new products, or create new ways to produce the same quality product in a more efficient manner. also, we have patent laws to protect original designs. Not to argue with you but just something for you to think about.

Saying that Rota/Drag/Konig/Varrstoen has even remotely similar quality products to Volk/SSR/etc. is completely absurd.

Rota/Drag/etc. have done nothing to force Ray's to advance their methods. While Ray's has always used high quality alloys, advanced techniques, great quality control; these knockoff companies make their wheels out of cheap alloy (and in some cases bondo :/), cheap techniques and zero QC.

I didn't say that. I simply stated that competition sparks innovation. I'm not arguing that there is a difference in quality between the companies. I'm arguing that because other companies "borrow" the designs of other companies, it requires the original company to innovate and create new products. That's a major reasoning behind massive R&D budgets at companies, if it wasn't for competitors, the company would have no reason to create new products.

So much truth.

ITT:
1. Trololol
2. Most expensive legit parts > everything else even though they're serving no advanced purpose for me.

I know this Is a sensitive subject but..
Honestly..I just want something that's gonna slam my car ..I just drive to work and back and want a good looking slammed car ..I was looking at the skunk2 coilovers for $300? I don't want cheap coilovers in the sense that I don't care about my car or that's gonna cost me more money in the long wrong but if I can get something that's gonna do the job for less then $300 then im game..but I'm the type of person to not have something and save the money and do it right instead of buying something for cheap and hating it later on wishing I would have just saved up

Then save up more than $300 if you want to ride slammed on coils.

Try $600+ for almost decent coils. I think Function & Form Type 1s are about that.. Basic coils though.
