Nitrous shot size my engine can handle?

that is correct nitrous is an awesome power adder but has its quirks. I ran lots of nitrous for a long time and just couldnt get a really consistent time at the track while using it. I dont realy care about consistency except for when im lining up for a real grudge match against a friend or rival. Either way nitrous tends to eat up plugs and detonate alot worse than boost does no matter what you do to the tuning. I also got tired of all the extra cost involved in running a real big nitrous powered car, like race gas and bottle fills and spark plugs.

My job is the number one reason im boosted now, I work at a local mechanic shop that does lots of import builds on the side as well as in house dyno tuning. The owner of the shop has been doing all my tuning for years and he has always been trying to get me to boost my car cause knows what goals I have for the car. A few weeks ago he handed me an old rusty manifold and said "ok heres your start now get it built". a few weeks later I had everything chopped up and modified to fot my motor all assembled on a mock up motor on an engine stand. Once my intercooler piping came in I went to work cutting welding and fabbing for a couple hours and it was all done.

Now I have a respectable turbo car with almost no money outta my own pocket. I have a great network of friends that literally gave me alot of my parts just for helping them out in the past. Like one friend that had a BOV that I wanted, all I had to do was weld him up a wastegate pipe and some flanges and it was mine. Easy for me. I also had a guy hit my car and break the taillight a couple weeks back, he fessed up to it and paid me what a new OEM one would cost. Instead of getting the brand new one I just got one off a junk integra we have at the shop for free. I took his money and bought a 60 trim ITS turbo with less than 3000 miles on it from a guy that owed me a favor. Needless to say I have almost no real cash tied up in the set up.

We dynoed the car lastnight on pump gas and 20psi and it made 372hp at 7800 rpm spinning the tires on the dyno. It should be alot of fun at the drag strip now.

Something is wrong there. You shouldn't eat plugs like that on a good tune. Was the plug temp right?
it didnt necessarily eat the plugs, and they probably didnt NEED to be changed that often; but i did to ensure they were in tip top shape. i was running bkr7e's gapped at .025. i did drive it in boost a lot.
