pictures look awesome, how close were u to da snake??
About 7 inches away...if the eyes are circle they're not poisonous. If they have eyes like a cat you don't go near them haha.

Really nice pictures man. I've been to most of those places. I used to go hiking up in Jim Thorpe all the time.

what the fuck!!! these are soo nice!! youre an inspiration

...too bad theres some noise in those deer shots :(
I know I was pretty bummed about that. They were really tough shots to get. I took them at 6am when it was still dark with my shitty 18-70mm lens and no tripod. I totally wasn't expecting to see any buck...never did before.

Yup thats actually just one of the many...probably not the safest way to find out but its the most obvious. I also knew it was cool to get close because of the shape of the head wasnt flat, the coloring, and there wasnt any indent after the nostrils. Definitely pays to know the animals you might run into before you do so haha.

loving the waterfall and frog shots
Thanks man! Anyone on the Eastern side of PA...I definitely recommend going to Bushkill at some point in time. The falls are really amazing and there is alot of open area around the bottom of the falls to get some great shots. Glen Onoko was nice but its definitely not easy going up or down. Before you enter the mountain there's a big sign that says "Hike at your own risk, please have all proper equipment, blah blah blah." It took me and my friend (another experienced hiker/rockclimber) about 4 hours to get to the top with small breaks for shooting photos.

Those pictures are gorgeous! You're awesome at photograhy.
Thanks! 8)

I just spent the last hour doing some hardcore retouching on the deer pics. I really hated how they looked...way too much noise to tolerate. I don't like to rely on Photoshop too much but I think these needed it.

try changing your ISO to get rid of that noise.
