Hey people how are you ? i got a 2000 gsr that i want to boost that i bought about 5 months ago with 80000 miles completely stock.... well heres my dilema i drive the car daily about 45 miles give or take but i got a bunch of friends with the new si's and type s and im constantly getting smoked and left behind by them they all got the same set ups basically I/H/E.. :( i am always defending the b series agains the k series so please help me!!

i want to boost my car with stock internal with about 8-9psi enought that i can make 230ish or so.. but i want to keep it safe for daily driving ( i go to school and work) currently i got a TURBO PRECISION 5031RE t3/t4 (it is the same as the GT3071R) in my hands
my question is
what size injectors should i use for this set up? 370cc, 440cc, 500cc, 550cc? i dont want to drown the engine lol
exhaust size?
can u tell me a estamite how much hp and or torque i will put down?
what size wastegate?
tubing and intercooler size?
what brand log manifold?
should i remove the secondaries in the intake manifold?

or any advise that you can give me will help please

PLEASE HELP ME REPRESENT FOR THE b SERIES

well, if your looking for a safe set up imo i would buy a turbo kit, that way if stuff goes wrong you blame fewer people and stuff is easier. also if i were you i would post this up in the forced introduction section and search

If I were you I'd mod the internals before turboing it, just for precaution... sure there are turbo kits for the car but how long is it gonna last you with those stock internals under boost for a daily? And what can you say the K-series are always going to be faster than the B with just I/H/E because they breath better and are newer and better technology than our old B's.

You can drive on stock internals on the daily. It all depends on the parts and specially the tune.

So you got the turbo, go buy:

-TiAL .5 bar (7psi) external wastegate (whatever color you chose) ( I'm not sure on the size, i think they are 38mm normally....)
-Any sort of BOV, I like the HKS SSQV
-turbo manifold (decent quality, not ebay shit) like Full Race or maybe even OBX
-intercooler piping (i'm running 2.5" mandrel bent eBay piping, cuz IMO, piping is piping)
-intercooler core, i'm running a GReddy FMIC
-injectors (I'm running 450cc injectors from a 2nd gen. Eclispe turbo) - With these you NEED a resistor box ($~10) off eBay
-tune (Hondata, chipped ecu with boost map, etc.)
-exhaust (I have only a 2.5" exhaust and downpipe, but 3" will net you the most power.)
-downpipe (i custom made mine to keep my a/c and p/s, but you might have to take them out.... If you take them out, get a 3" downpipe
-manual boost controller; turbo XS, hallman, perrin, etc. (optional)

Can't remember if i'm forgetting anything. Anyway good luck, you should be pushing more than 230-240whp @ 7psi

never heard of that brand of mani, but how are you going to compare a full race mani to an obx mani, thats likes gucci to walmart. if your on a buget and want a log mani, i would look into this kit (http://www.spoolinperformance.com/spoolinperformance-manifold-package-deal-series-only-p-29.html) its all good parts that will help you make your power goal, as far as the turbo, i would maybe look into a smaller turbo just for a quicker spool up on such a small setup. get tail 38mm wastegate, get a intercooler and 2.5 piping kit, you will have no problem with an ebay kit for that. you should be fine with a 2.5 exhaust all the way out, look into k-teller website. and you should be fine with some 550 or 450. you should be able to make 300 safely with a setup like this. just be sure to find a good tuner and tell them that its going to be a dd and make it safe and i wouldnt mess with the timing much

well i mean you can more power with it, but if you just want it for some dd fun, i would go with something a little smaller just for a super quick spool up and just get in boost super quick for the dd
