Yesss, I'm still alive. Just been really busy with work, school and other crap.
I have a crap load of updates on my 3rd gen, but gonna wait until the paint is complete to post everything.
Now I have this 2nd gen headache I'll be working on. :???:

Those aren't actually clear corners, the cover is just broken off on both of them. Hahaha, I just ordered some $24 clears off ebay today. One pieces are too pricey for me right now, so the clears will do for now.

Not starting when warm sounds like a main relay issue... Does it not start even if you give it some gas? Today the heat index in Iowa was 120+ degrees and my teg once in a while will need for me to give it a little gas for it to start only on the really hot and humid days.

It starts up fine when it's cool.. And it pulls hard when I'm driving it. Won't turn off at all while I'm driving.
But when the engine is hot, after driving for a while.. It won't turn on. I have to let it sit and cool down for a while before starting it up again. Weird thing is, it only does it sometimes. The previous owner told me it did this, and I drove around town twice so far to test it, and only one of the two times it didn't hot start.
I feel like I'm not making any sense, lol.. Do you understand?
I know for a fact there is something wrong with the fuel system.. It may not be the issue with the hot start, but the fuel pump needs to be replaced.
So main relay-huh?
What are all the possible reasons why there would be a hot start issue?

I came across a few more problems.. Noticed that the stock exhaust tips are completely rusted/rotted out. The exhaust in general has major rust. :(

Also, A problem that was pointed out from the previous owner; The drivers side seat belt (automatic) does not roll back. You have to pull it back with force.. But it rolls forward just fine when it's supposed to. Anyone have this problem with the 2nd gen and know what the problem might be?

Probably another 'teggy. But the people who were interested in my car backed out, so still representing VSM RS 2drs for now :p And what's that 3rd gen teggy in the picture!? Better not have painted your car anything aside from VSM!

Mine is currently still VSM, with a sanded hood and a few primered spots from fixing the few dents I had.
I'm gonna respray it VSM as soon as this 2nd gen is reliable enough to get me around.

I had/have this problem..the first time it ended up being the track was broken. for some reason it would go foward but not come back on the track. right now its not working I think its the switch in the door because my dome light also does not come on. check the track first.

Might be the fuel pump, mine is doing the exact same thing right now and I tracked it down to that.
