what are other items i should look at to increase more of my lowend torque but also apply a bit more to my higher end? Is the AEM CAI good for my low end torque? Because i was looking to maybe getting the whale penis, or the comptech or mugen intake anyone with any input on those intakes?
Dont change it if it not broken, and that header cat combo if a effin good deal hok that up with a good exhaust oh yeah... but to let you know the n1 styles are pretty dam loud, dont know how you feel about that, there are many good options for exhaust, just look. also for your suspension, i dont know what your bank is ilike but see if you can get some coilovers to adjust them how you want. det you basics done then well talk about some cams and stuff for ya lol ;)

welcome to the club, like speedin said you should jump on tegsox's shit but if you cant then dont worry about, the n1 is in fact a loud exhaust the n/a version which isnt much of a difference from the turbo version only price but its great one at that, would be a good first starting exhaust, second your aem cai, will do exactly what you need for the moment third if your looking to get good numbers i would upgrade your valve train meaning valves, valve springs and retainers, not to mention and upgrade in the cams them selves. comp cams makes a awesome set of all cams, retainers etc, and not that bad in price eithere im looking a gett a set my self here in the next lil while.....for suspension, a set of adjustable coilovers would do the trick, skunk2 makes a pretty cheap set and there awesome from what i have been told but if your looking to get rid of gap than just do springs, i have a set of rs-r downsprings and i love them, my drop is 2" eibach, skunk2, ground countrol, tein, are just a frew that have pretty decent set ups as far as springs go, if you keep your eyes out ypou will find akll the right parts

thanks everyone so far for helping me out! Yea, i was thinking of just getting springs, but in the long run is it better to just get coilovers? I want my car to be decently dropped and not have to take 20 minutes to get over a speed bump and at the same time not be bouncing everywhere. I live in hawaii and i see alot of people use tokico blues? Over here there isn't much selection unless you buy online, what are you guys' input about that brand if any? As for my budget, right now im getting things one step at a time. So if theres something i cant buy, i can always save up. I says items that are mid-range in price, not over the top high uber items, but things that will exceed just over doing the trick. As for the N1 exhaust, ive heard it before, and i agree also its pretty loud, but ive never heard it with the silencer, does it make it noticably quieter? Will certain brands of exhaust effect certain areas of my powerband? If i were to get the header and cat combo from tegsox, will this make an improvement for now, or is it something that i can keep for a long time?

if you stay N/A that header and cat will work forever. All you need is a nice catback and your N/A exhaust is perfect!

thanks everyone for helping me out, hey silver where you from? i used to live in daygo before i moved to to oahu because of my dad. Okay, im kinda confused silver and kuch said i need low end, and speedin said i need top end, which one am i looking for?
located in south east san diego aka "EAST SIDEEEEE / city heights" its sorta near the SDSU college area. the reason i say low end is because i believe my car lacks the low end power band because i arleady have "enough" high end with the 4-1 DC SS header and the chipped mugen ECU. once i hit 5.5k'ish RPM ,the car flys... but anyhitng below 5.5.k rpm, it lags. so thats my reasoning for upgrading to low-end power. but slap on some cams and a intake manifold... and the gains should be throughout the power band.

and as for dropping your car, if you're gonna go with springs, u should have an idea of what kinda size rims/tires you're planning to get and what sorta lips you're gonna get cause it all plays a factor when it comes to springs because they are not adjustable. its just something to think about cause you might change suspension setups.

well for now, im prolly gonna lower my car onto some 16s, but thats temporary until i can get some blades. as for a lip, im still unsure if i want to get a 98+ bumper conversion, if i do ill prolly get the type-r lip, if not, then maybe a sir-g lip or type-r?
