New used acura for the win

Hey everybody whats up? Well, I just got my car its a green 96 gsr sedan, its pretty stock for the most part but it did already come with an AEM CAI. So far its been a blasty blast to ride. This is my first car and so I have a few question about it. To start off, I dont know much about cars so Im learning every step of the way, so please forgive me if i ask really stupid questions Ive read that I should have a plan of attack, I have a slight idea of what I want, and that is I want my car to pull. So probably Im gonna be wanting more HP in the higher end of the powerband? But my question is since i have an idea of where i want my hp, i dont know what type of parts to buy that will help me achieve this goal. For example, i have a stock exhaust, i dont know what brand or model to get, to help me achieve my goal. My other question is that since my car is stock, its still on its stock suspension, i dont much about suspension brands, but i just want to drop my car enough to get rid of wheel gap but without fully dumping it. Anybody have any suggestions? Thank everyone for helping me out in advance.

first off... 4 DOOR GS-R FTW! :thumbs up.... lol. but yea there's lots of brands out there that are good... just stay away from cheap ebay knockoffs and your APC from pepboys :thumbdown:.

First off what you really want is torque. Horsepower is actually just a number you get from messuring torque, and If you want to pull like I'm guessing you do, you actually want your torque at the lower end of your RPM range. Talk to TegSox, a.k.a. god. he knows all about everything, lol

yup wit the heavy 4dr gsr you want lowend torque... cause that that "vtakkkkkkk" kick in at mid-high end.

So you want top-end power? GSR is the way to go. So you got that part right. I would start with some 98+ JDM Type-R headers, a 2.5in High flow cat, and a RSR EXmag Cat-back. That will give you a nice difference in power. All nice parts, and it will sound amazing (not rice). I think someone is selling a header and cat now. lemme go find it

anybody have any suggestion for dropping my car? what other items are good to help me produce more torque? I was also wondering, anybody have good or bad experiences with an APEXI N1 exhaust? I think i might go for that, not uneless someone can convince me other wise.

you're looking for low-end torque. since you have vtec your mid-range to top-end is fairly good alrdy. but there's no such thing as too much power. :twisted:

you're not talking about a REAL whale penis right? haha. those intakes will provide some awesome airflow. im using injen technology, and it works like a champ.
