The b18b1 swap over the b18a1 isnt much of a difference. I think the intake cam is a little different, and the ECU has a different mapping on it. I assume the engine was swapped without an ECU swap, so there goes most of the benefit you would have had.

yea, i don't think the guy who sold me it even knows that it has a swapped motor. i guess if the ECU wasn't swapped, the only advantage is that it's a newer motor. thanks for the info!

Hey guys. just an update on my car: I picked up a left lower ball joint, right upper control arm/ball joint assembly and 4 Goodyear Nordic winter tires. I'm going to be installing them in the next couple days at the auto shop at my school. Also, there's a pretty nice size hole in the floor behind the driver seat which I'm having patched up. There's a dime size hole in the exhaust just before the muffler which I'm also going to temporarily patch (until I get a full cat back exhaust ) So that's what's I've been dealing with recently. I'm trying to finish the work up quickly so I can have the car Emission Tested and Certified so I can actually get it on the road! Then the money spending will begin

wow, it's been a while since i've posted on here! So since my last post, I've installed a Skunk2 MegaPower cat back exhaust, Magnaflow high flow cat, GSR DA interior, and Tokico Illuminas/Ground Control coilovers. I'll have some pics up ASAP. my car passed the e test/safety, so I'm just waiting on insurance; than it's on the road finally! I tried to lower the rears coilovers more yesterday, and I'm pretty sure I stripped the allen bolt, so that sucks. Maybe I'll call Ground Control and see what they can do.

Also, I have a set of 90-91 (clear/red) tails, and I have the stock 92-93 tails (amber, red, clear) on the car...not sure which I want to use. Any suggestions? I took all the pink lines out of the 90-91 tails (Castrol super clean trick). Umm, what else...thats about it for now. Just trying to save my money, and appreciate what I got. I'll start gettin' some new parts probably within a couple weeks

Amber bumper lights
Rims/tires

**Some rims I had in mind: LS meshies, Konig (heliums, feathers, retracks) etc....any suggestions on good rims? maybe Rotas...if I see a good enough deal lol and no crazy expensive rims (Work, Volk, Enkei etc)

so I was going to only get jdm one pieces, amber bumper lights, and rims/tires until summer time...but I found a good deal on this; so I bought it lol

You got a killer deal. Mine was $1200 with a power steering leak, 201k, a horrible battery that can only hold a charge for maybe 2 days, bad body damage. I also like the color on yours. I might paint mine that color.

As for your taillights, I would personally go with blacked out. It depends on what style you want the car. If you want it fully blacked out, there ya go. If you want it diff colors, Maybe LED tail lights?

oh man...i never noticed that picture looked like the rear window is smashed haha! that was the day I bought it, it was in the guys garage but i had just taken it for a rip in the rain, so all the water is running down it haha...I'm not really into the blacked out look. I think im just going to keep the tails that are on it...thanks a lot though man!

I'm tryin' to save as much money as possible for body work in the summer. the car has some rust on it, and i'd like to just get it all takin' care of and possibly repainted (same colour). From now, until then, I'm just going to buy rims/tires, amber bumper lights and MAYBE jdm one pieces. Oh, and of course a hub for the new wheel. but otherwise, just gonna enjoy the car as it is.

cleaned out the headlights/bumper lights today and relocated the license plate!




There's a possibility I will be picking up a set of BBS RA's for the integra...hopefully! old mesh style wheels on a DA, I think would look wicked. Oh, and I also bought a Boss hub Kit for the MOMO wheel. should have it all together tomorrow, i'll take more pics!

Picked up a set of black w/ polished lip BBS RA's mounted on Falken Ziex's (195/50/R15). Can't wait to throw them on soon! I'm also going to install the MOMO tuner wheel tomorrow. Gonna test-fit the wheels/tyres, just to see how they look. It may snow again here in Ontario, so I'm just gonna wait probably 3 weeks to put them on for the whole summer. Here's pics of them:
