Dc2 is the chassis code for a coupe gsr. The engine block should have "b18c1" stamped on it on the front left. Check for oil leaks, when driving it go through all the gears and get up into higher rpms to to check f vtec engages at 4500 rpms and that there are no grinds. Look for rust underneath, make sure the dash indicators for check engine and abs etc light up for a couple seconds when turning the car on, then go off after a few seconds. Pull dipstick, see how the oil looks, if it's low or really dirty you might need to worry about abuse etc.

thanks a lot. whats the most you would pay for this car? how would i go about finding a mechanic to look at the car? i live in chicago and the car is in milwaukee about 1hr and a half away

4200 maybe. If you have any mechanically inclined friends just take them with you. Otherwise ask the seller f you buy it to allow it to be checked by a mechanic and if it's not all good full refund. Then have a local mechanic go from there.
