So I just grabbed this from craigslist for $65.

Took her to a DIY shop. For $25/hr, they'll let you use their climate controlled, fully equipped facilities to repair your car. You can even leave it overnight.

At this point, I need new brake rotors, radiator hoses, new engine mounts and a flywheel resurface.

Update!
Old transmission was dying. Got a new one. Couldn't find any cable YS1s, so upgraded to a hydro S80. gonna be ordering a Hasport conversion kit soon unless anyone has any better ideas

Yes, it is. I just got it freshly built from a transmission shop. Now I'll have a slightly longer (than original trans) 5th gear!
