Welcome and nice 4door!
I have an 94 4dr ls and im kinda new, but so far I have an AEM SRI. I was gonna get Injen cuz I thought It looked cooler, but I got the AEM. Both are good though. Also, Im saving up for the Gready SP2 Exhuast for my ride. My stock has holes in it...

Allot of people would recommend you lowering first as they did me, and I would recommend you lowering too. Specially if your going to put new bigger rims on. I think 16inch looks perfect on teggeys.

As for the chamber kit you don't necessarily have to have one if your not planning on dropping it too much, but its always nice to get one so you wont wear your tires out so fast. If you insists on not getting a chamber kit its a good idea to get an alignment after you get done dropping.

To start off modding I would do intake first, cat back exhaust second if your going to do that, then lower, then rims, and your be pretty much set. If you want you can get a header and high flow cat, to complete your exhaust modding. Lot of people get Type R lips for the front too. Not sure all your plans so yeah.

I can really suggest any rims to yah, it really all depends on what you like and what color in stuff. I just dont recommend you getting over 16inch rims, they look nice but hurt perfomance. Again rims would look alot nicer if your car is lowered.

welcome.
its nice to see that there are ppl out there trying to taken care of the 4 doors. i have a 96 gsr. my opinion stick with factory ac wheels. the wheels on mine now r factory and i have a set of sawblades im dyin to put on. so far i have just the skunk2 lowering springs *im doin what i can with what lil money i make**fuk tie and suit wearin mf* but neways....ive yet to align it but ive kept a watchful eye and my tire seem to be wearing just fine. againbeing a cheap and impatient person i have a jdm type r header... got it off of ebay. so far until thanksgiving i had no problems. oh and dont forget about a short shifter, um so far the best set up ive seen for a good price is the skunk2 shifter and shift knob...again ull find it on ebay. when u shop on ebay check and make sure ur buyin from a good seller, check the feedback and also how many items they sell. remember if you do it right the first time you wont have to keep putting money into the same thing over and over again....uve much to learn yung grasshopper

Thanks fellas. Surferman nice 4dr! That things clean. Im looking for a suspension set up now cuz ive decided that suspension and intake are definite first mods. I already picked an intake so im gonna focus on choosing a suspension set up. 96acdb8, do you have skunk2 springs on your stock shocks/struts? Ive heard that isnt the best way to go because of serious alignment problems.

yea i did....not the smartest thing...at all. i got impaitent but my buddy has the skunk2 shocks and struts and lca's, its yet to get put on the road....trans swap, boosted, etc. but im hopin that its gonna ride good if it does ill stick with skunk2. back to the question you asked... yes its not good to put lowering springs on stock for the simple fact that stock just aint made for it..other reason theyre old and worn out. it still rides amazingly well tho no bounce and it sticks in the corners...not bad im happy for now

Well i agree with everyone so far. But i will add my 2cents also....get a good idea of what you want your car to do and look like when it is done. Ex. Race car(who cares about a stereo, that shit makes you slow), Bad ass street car(show and go), or just Clean(about 3 inches off the ground and still past emissions). Then build towards that. Don't just start slapping on parts left and right because before you know it, it just a mess of too many parts and you don't know where you took a side track.

As for parts/appearance(assuming you want to keep the car like maybe forever, cherish it), don't go cheap. Buy the parts that actually do what you wanted/assumed they were going to do. So for performance upgrades, buy only proven stuff. Because it sucks if you get your new ebay eshaust system in and find out you actually didn't gain anything.

Yes, find out what you would like to do overall and think ahead. You might start slapping on intakes and a header and some 2.25" exhaust and then 8 months from now decide you wanna go turbo, if that's the case everything you just bought you're gunna have to take it the pants or sell it. Also I'd try to focus on one thing at a time with the exception of a few things here and there because if you're too vague you'll never make up your mind and it'll be stock for years because you keep going in a hundred different directions. As for the lowering of the car I saw you should lower it because it looks clean but IMO no matter what you wanna do race, show, clean 16's are pretty much the perfect size wheel to go with anything bigger than that and you gotta be careful to not make it look like a can of rice and or a 4x4 pickup. 195/45/16 fits in the wheel wells perfectly and looks the best a tiny bit of tuck and no rubbing. If you go show plan on it being slow and visa versa. If you plan on going fast don't plan on it being blingy so figure out your goals right off the get-go. Also keep in mind there's fast, reliable and cheap and you only get to pick 2. Good luck with your teg and keep everyone posted along the way to see your progress! :)

Tokico Yellows and H&R springs...

That's not expensive by any means probably about 600 new 400 if you find some of it used and if you do the labor yourself VS coilovers at 1,200 which are pretty much a waste of money unless you're going to be serious about track and racing etc.
