There will a white knob on the oppsite side of the ivac or fitv use a star or flat head and twist it, clockwise or counter until you get it to 800 rpm when the car is warm.

Here's the link;

SO AS I WAS PUTTING THE FITV BACK I HIT THE PIECE CIRCLED IN THE PICTURE AND IT SPARKED AND NOW MY CAR WONT TURN OVER WHATS WRONG? WOULD THE FITV HAVE SOMETHING TO DO WITH NOT TURNING OVER?

FITV is a idle control mechanism. Do you remember seeing wires connected to it? Check your fuses first.

i recconected everything back when re installing the fitv... The piece circled in the picture is connected to the distributor and spark plugs.. Note- the car started fine before all this just low stumbling idle... If it would be the fuses which should i check for and where i am new to all this
