they didnt let me drive the WRX....


but i did drive a EVO RS, and honestly, it wasnt really all that fast (imO) STI owns it.


i also drove a 06 RSX-S in that 350z orange. man that thing is a hot car.

WHAT! they let u in a EVO! and not a wrx? damn. must be the dealer. i can get in a sti or wrx anytime i want. but i dont know anyone at mitsu so i cant get in the evo . and yes sti's kick ASS

yeah, there was a subaru dealer, and they basically said i can test drive it right before i finnish all the paperwork to buy it. i walked down the street to acura. and they let me in a used evo RS with exhaust and intake. its really not that quick compared to the STi i drove(my firends). after the Evo, i got in a 06 RSX-S in copperhead orange and man that thing is a hot car, doesnt seem much faster than my car, but i could be wrong.

the 05 STI was a little quicker. they changed the default torque distribution of the DCCD in 06 to balance it further forward which made it a little slower. the EVO still owns all the STI's in braking and handling

yyeah, i drove a RS that was traded in with a intake, BOV, exhaust. it could have been a messed up car for all i know. i just remember the STi pulling alot harder.

bah, it felt slower to me. my friend ran his STi at a track all stock and ran a 13.2 in his 05.

this was a 04, which i dont believe had mivec, but im not sure.

the torque out of that boxer 2.5 makes it feel alot faster. they aren't though. they are very closely matched. it could of also just been an abused EVO

yeah thats what i was thinking. its not like the evo wasnt fast. way faster than the RSX-S i drove that was BNEW and the GSR i have, but it just didnt feel faster than the STi. the thing was modded, and traded in at 34,000miles, and was at the dealer for like 3 months. theres gotta be problems with it.
