I just picked up a 1990 Acura Integra LS with 230,000 miles. So far I have found that the TB needs to be cleaned. Some simple adjustments and the rough idle, vibration, and check engine light went away. After I do my emissions test tomorrow I will get a new TB gasket and clean it out. I also have a fuel smell under the hood. Tomorrow I plan to install new fuel injector seals after I run all 3 stages of SeaFoam. After a few hundred miles I will get to an oil change and new spark plugs.

Is there anything I need to know specific to this vehicle?

When i had a DA9, Use to ide rough until i replaced the IACV, Ran fine after that.

I can not find any signs of modification or accidents.

Try cleaning the IAC and cleaning and adjusting the FIT valve.

If I am going to remove a TB I will dismantle it and clean every part with TB cleaner and a tooth brush. I will pay particular attention to the FIT valve now.

depends if the light is bolted on the bottom or not.Just unscrew the 3 top bolts of the light and if it doesn't come off then you cause there is one bolt on the bottom of the housing

I plan to put in a new timing belt when I adjust the valves.
