Yes you can boost a stock motor. However a stock motor is usually only good to around 300hp, then you should worry about your rods breaking. I rebuilt my B18b1 and i'm going to run about 7psi on it. It will probably come up around 230hp. Chances are I will build the motor later down the road though.

oh and the 4-2-1 headers are megan headers not factory. sorry i didnt specify
and the intake/filter is Injen
Not trying to be a douche, but your car has a header, not headers. My advice to you is to get a good repair manual. I have the actual Haynes manual and a PDF version of the Helms, and my vote goes to the Helms. It's a lot more detailed and thorough.

my vote goes to suspension/tires/brakes. What good is power if you can't control it, get it to the pavement or slow it down at the end of the ride

I completely agree first thing i did to my teg when i bought it was slam it on adjustable coil overs and new struts. i got a set of skunk2 coil overs with kyb gr2 struts for around 300 fairly cheap and a lot better handling

Do the basic cheaper stuff first then hit with the heavier stuff next. I started with simple install stuff. Strut bars all the way Found. Header intake shocks and springs. Then upgraded all my bushings which by the way for fucking bushings its expensive. Then after you get it handling the way you like and stopping don't necessarily have to upgrade calipers just the pads I would start playing with the Internals. Some advice if your going to use it as your daily go find you a head evans honda in Newport have a ton just don't let them douche you around on price. Put it together then throw it on so you will have everything done to it and want be down long.

The top one for the front and back go on top of the shock tower two bolts off then plate then back on and make the adjustment tight. They help with the body roll. Better for cornering
the gold bar is the front strut upper
