How is Vtec engaging if the wiring doesn't reach the switch?it was sitting due to no tags but does run n vtec does engage
good question... Do u have a pic of the connection that goes in the vtec would helpHow is Vtec engaging if the wiring doesn't reach the switch?
A P30 is a B16 ECU. You can also run a p28, P72, or other OBD1 ECU( that's converted to manual and Vtec) that is socketed and has a writable chip on it with a B16 MAP.What kind of ecu would go with b16a..it has a lose connection but don't know if that's it ill put a pic tomorrow morning
maybe thats it but im goin to take it to a shop and their going to put the pr3,o2 sensor n knock sensor a wire it right probably atell them to take out the spoon vtec controller all for 350 since thats the only shop around here to deal with hondas :smackself: so much for the tokico strutsPr3 ecu should work too, I was told that even though the vtec might not be wired up, the sheer pressure of the oil can cause vtec to crack, not fully, but, cause it to crack none the less, this actually happened on my other teg, I dropped in a b16a and ran the pr4 for a couple days til I could wire up vtec on my pr3 I had, so it's possible, won't be nearly as strong, but it'll crack
