When I first got my car my thoughts were "Wow this is a really loud riceburner." The sound grew on me and I eventually began to like it. The other day I went to home depot in the Integra.. bad idea.. I bought a 10 foot pipe, so part of it was out of the hatch. With the hatch cracked the inch or so for the pipe to sit out- it was RIDICULOUSLY loud.

I've decided if my car is that loud to everyone around me- I don't want it to stay that loud, because that's fucking obnoxious.

Going to the exhaust shop Monday. (I hope.)

like i told you on face book, i have straight 3in and a muffler and its not too loud. if you want it quieter you can get a resonator and a twin loop muffler

I think i'm going to wait til Wednesday or Thursday to get to the exhaust shop. I want the car to run when it's done so I can hear it before it leaves.

I'll let you know what I come up with. I'm probably going to chat with the exhaust guy tomorrow and see if he has anything in stock as far as mufflers go.

I've been thinking about going a smaller exhaust- just because I don't think I need 3" for 250hp.
But knowing me- i'll upgrade in the future, and I would hate to have to buy another exhaust lol.

i dumped almost a grand into my exhaust system i have now only a couple months ago, 2.5" and its getting ripped off and replaced with 3", id be happy to sell you the system for cheap :p

Well like I mentioned.. somewhere.. a family friend is doing the work at his shop, i'm sure you can't beat his price.

What are your thoughts on that though? How much restriction/power loss would a 2.5" or 2.75" exhaust have over a 3"?
